Green Day's new album. It sounds exactly like Dookie and Nimrod.

All day I listened to Oneohtrix Point Never's Rifts boxset. Except for in my car, where I listened to the new A$AP Rocky album.

I am listening to German reggae, and still trying to wrap my head around it.

Listened to Daft Punk's Alive 2007 today. Posted thoughts on the boards. Here they were:
Post 1: Okay, listening to Alive 2007. Been enjoying it okay so far but "Too Long/Steam Machine" is the first one to really pleasure my earhole.
I keep getting the sense that I need to be on ecstasy to enjoy this to its fullest (and I don't do drugs, yo).
Post 2: I think I enjoyed that a fair bit. I was expecting their sound to get rather tiresome over a long period of time but, fortunately, they avoided this issue as I think they saved most of their best stuff for the second half of the album. Mind you, it's possible I only feel that way because I hit the treadmill for the last 15 minutes and I'm sure it helped to actually be moving while listening to this. One thing I liked was that, while it shares very little in common with it musically, it was relentlessly direct in a way that kind of reminded me of punk music.

Vampire Weekend's Modern Vampires of the City. Thanks Stephen for the recommendation!

I've been loving the new Portugal. The Man album that dropped today. Especially this song:

This re-issue of Lansing-Dreiden's The Dividing Island sounds incredible. I didn't even know it was getting a re-issue until I saw the review on Pitchfork.
