Today I want to recommend the lovely city of San Pedro Sula. With that name, you know you're a step away from paradise!
The economy is based on drug-trafficking and gang-based fear-mongering. According to the U.S. department, 42 percent of all cocaine headed to the U.S. and 90 percent of all cocaine flights now transit Honduras. The underdeveloped and pristine beach makes it ideal for smuggling cocaine and a nice picnic. It's the murder capital of the world with 159 homicides per 100,000 residents, or 1200 murders total. For comparison, New York City had 6.5 homicides per 100,000, while the leading U.S. city Flint, Michigan had 64.9 per 100,000.
Make sure you arrive in the morning before the gangs are active!
If you've ever wanted to commit a crime and get away with it, spend a few days in this magical city. Only 2 percent of criminal cases end in a conviction.
For accommodations, try the Hilton Princess where you can watch HBO or lounge in a luxurious pool while you're hiding from the roving gangs. Or try a smaller, cheaper hotel to live among the locals and reengage your zeal for life.
For food, you can enjoy a peanut butter and jelly sandwich was hunkering down in the bathtub ducking stray gunfire. If you want to go out to eat, go to a TGI Fridays where an armed guard checks you and your bags with a metal detector before you can come in. Don't forget to tip!
Be sure to quickly finish your travel arrangements quickly! Your hotel manager or travel agent could be ... "replaced."
Come to the wondrous San Pedro Sula! Gold to the west, a beach to the north, and white powder funneled through the streets.

{Note}This is a joke topic, and I'm not trying to make light of murders. But I hope if anything it highlights a huge problem in the Americas, where the illegal drug operations have turned cities in Mexico, Honduras, and elsewhere into hellish war-zones. And the most violent cities in the U.S. also have close ties to these cities. The best anti-drug PSA is probably something about how it supports a criminal network that results in gangs controlling cities and citizens dragged into the streets and beaten to death (at least, the street drugs that don't come from your goofy cousin who grows pot or whatever.) This note is also a quick way to kill any comedy I have built up in the topic.)
